Creative Content Designer

The Creative Content Designer is responsible for producing compelling visual content that strengthens World Vision Malaysia's brand presence and storytelling. This role supports digital engagement, campaign promotions, and organizational communications by creating high-quality designs and visual assets that inspire supporters to take action and contribute to positive change.

Key responsibilities

1. Content & Visual Design

• Design visual content across digital platforms (social media, email campaigns, website, and promotional materials) aligned with World Vision's brand identity and enhances audience engagement.

• Create ad creative for digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) optimised for performance and conversions.

• Create multimedia content including graphics, animations, and short-form videos with editing capabilities (trimming, text overlays, transitions, captions, and background music).

2. Creative Collaboration

• Work with marketing, digital, and cross-functional teams to translate campaign concepts into effective visual outputs.

• Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently.

• Support creative brainstorming for major campaigns, events, and digital initiatives.

• Work with external partners including creative agencies and freelancers to support larger campaign initiatives.

3. Trend Research & Innovation

• Stay updated with current design and digital storytelling trends to keep visual content fresh and engaging.

• Recommend creative approaches to enhance supporter experience and campaign performance.

4. Quality & Brand Consistency

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and uphold strong aesthetic standards.

• Ensure all visual content is aligned with brand guidelines, messaging tone, and organizational values.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Media Production, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in content creation, digital design, or video production.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator) or equivalent tools.

• Ability to shoot and film; familiarity with social media content formats is an added advantage.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred.

• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate creative ideas.
