Corporate Relations Senior Associate

This role develops and manages corporate and strategic partnerships to drive fundraising growth and CSR collaboration for World Vision Malaysia.

It focuses on partnership acquisition, relationship stewardship, and fundraising coordination to ensure meaningful engagement with corporate donors and partners while supporting the organization's mission to improve the lives of children and vulnerable communities.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Senior Associate contributes to achieving corporate revenue targets, strengthening partnerships, and delivering sustainable impact aligned with organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities

1. Corporate Partnership Development & Management

• Identify, research, and engage potential corporate partners, foundations, and strategic collaborators aligned with World Vision Malaysia's mission and CSR priorities.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with corporate donors and partners to strengthen engagement and retention.

• Support the development of partnership proposals, sponsorship decks, and engagement plans.

• Ensure timely stewardship through impact updates, appreciation initiatives, and regular communication.

2. Fundraising & Channel Execution

• Support the implementation of corporate fundraising strategies and initiatives to achieve agreed revenue and engagement targets.

• Coordinate and monitor fundraising channels such as Face-to-Face (F2F), telemarketing, roadshows, and workplace campaigns to ensure quality and brand alignment.

• Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, CSR initiatives, and donor engagement activities.

• Work with agencies and vendors to ensure effective campaign delivery and performance tracking.

3. Proposal Development & External Engagement

• Prepare partnership proposals, concept notes, and presentations for corporate prospects and partners.

• Collaborate with Programme and Communications teams to integrate impact stories and data into proposals.

• Represent World Vision Malaysia at CSR events, networking sessions, and partnership meetings when required.

• Support presentations and pitches to potential partners and sponsors.

4. Relationship Management, Reporting & CRM

• Maintain positive donor and partner relationships through proactive communication and engagement.

• Monitor partnership performance and prepare reports on fundraising outcomes and engagement activities.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date partner and donor records in CRM systems.

• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and confidentiality of donor information.

5. Internal Collaboration & Team Contribution

• Work closely with Digital, Communications, Finance, and Programme teams to align partnership initiatives.

• Provide operational support for corporate campaigns and cross-functional fundraising projects.

• Support interns or junior team members where assigned.

• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve partnership engagement and fundraising effectiveness.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate fundraising, business development, sales, CSR, or partnership management.

• Experience in proposal development, stakeholder engagement, and campaign/event coordination.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin is an added advantage).

• Good relationship management, negotiation, and coordination skills.

• Strong organizational and project management capability.
