Resource Development Department

    Job Description:

     

    An exciting role that will help to identify growth opportunities, implement brand campaigns and build connections through inspiring stories of children and their communities who are lifted up from poverty in some of the world’s toughest places. Lead the design and implementation of omni/digital marketing strategy, innovation and elevate our digital experiences across the marketing funnel.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Lead Marketing team comprising Brand & Digital experts to carry out the plans towards achieving growth targets
    • Develop annual brand & consumer engagement brief, underpinned by a strongly integrated digital ecosystem
    • Conceptualize, plan, coordinate and execute clear marketing campaigns with impactful content
    • Delivery of timely and aligned marketing ammunition, leveraging digital mindset and skillset
    • Drive marketing analysis and ROI
    • Identify innovative marketing and communication approaches; launch and learn
    • Conduct relevant research to understand target segments and areas for growth
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams; secure alignment and implement marketing plans

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Admin/Business/Marketing studies with at least 10 years related working experience

    Job Description:

     

    The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the digital marketing team in digital campaign planning, journey design, optimization, and channel mix to improve CPA, ROAS and channel diversification. It will involve functional knowledge and familiarity with digital marketing platforms and digital analytics.

     

    The digital marketing specialist must have strong knowledge across areas of digital marketing including ability to leverage MarTech and AdTech to improve marketing campaigns and strategies. This can include using software or machine learning, automating marketing tasks, to using data analytics to track and improve marketing performance.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to the company website/social media platforms
    • Track conversion rates – what worked, what didn’t, and why
    • Raise brand awareness and online presence via digital marketing projects and campaigns
    • Ensures that campaigns are consistently optimized, and new in-market opportunities are explored/tested
    • Understand how to maximize budget and opportunity for each campaign
    • Review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company is a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in digital marketing space
    • Able to work with, and communicate with stakeholders the value that digital marketing campaigns can bring to an organization

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Business/Marketing/Digital Marketing with at least 3-5 years related working experience
    • Knowledge in key areas of digital marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM)
    • Working experience in implementing tracking concepts via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a plus
    • Understand the key measurement tools available and good presentation skills
    • Stay current in marketing trends and news e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms

    Job Description:

     

    The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for World Vision Malaysia’s website performance and integrated omni-channel journey together with the team.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Lead website management and operations, which include role of web editor and development of landing pages for the organization in partnership with cross functional teams
    • Lead website tagging and coding including Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Enhanced E-commerce
    • Track, analyze and report digital data with recommendations on improving deliverables
    • Manage digital marketing agency; ensure sustainable, reliable support and continuous organizational learnings with improvement
    • Support Digital Marketing team on annual content strategy development, user journeys, digital and innovation platforms
    • Support partnerships with e-commerce platforms in collaboration with channel team

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Admin/Business/Marketing/Digital Marketing studies with related working experience
    • At least 3-5 years of working experience, digital marketing experience is a must
    • Working knowledge and familiarity with website, digital marketing platforms and analytics
    • Any experience with website development is added advantage
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure; able to multi-task
    • Able to communicate well and work independently

     

    Job Description:

     

    The Campaigns Executive is responsible to develop, execute and evaluate campaigns for youths; ensure that programs meet overall objectives, contributing to the overall target and brand image.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new marketing opportunities and penetrate new market segments.
    • Identify, collate, upkeep and expand database of existing and potential schools/universities into higher levels of engagement and fundraising.
    • Assist with the development of awareness raising, advocacy and knowledge products, including infographic and other communication materials using various mediums.
    • Plan and implementation, and facilitation of activities, workshops, panel discussions, special meet ups, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources whilst ensuring that operation are managed within authorized budget.
    • Presentations to public and school groups for purpose of WVM participation.
    • Training of leaders for the 30-Hour Famine, End Violence Against Children (EVAC) or any other advocacy activities.
    • Follow up with the DIY Camps by ensuring that the Camps’ needs are met, resolved and immediate follow-up actions taken.
    • Coordinate logistical details with internal and external service departments for WVM campaigns and events.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Public Relations or related fields.
    • At least 2 years working experience in related field.
    • Experience in organising and managing events.
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
    • Good working command of English and Chinese.
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines.
    • Positive attitude, detail oriented and highly motivated.
    • Able to work independently in a fast-pace and changing environment.

     

    Job Description:

     

    The Corporate Engagement Executive is responsible for securing, managing and building corporate partnerships towards the fulfilment of Sustainability agenda.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Develop strategy to grow corporate partnerships and carry out research to identify CSR collaboration opportunities.
    • Manage and build partnerships to ensure ongoing support and build mutual trust.
    • Provide regular updates and impact reports to donors.
    • Engage new potential donors and develop clearly thought proposals.
    • Prepare and deliver concise and clear executive level presentations when needed.
    • Provide regular updates on key deliverables and ensure that action plans are deployed in timely manner.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Business and Marketing with related working experience in corporate or humanitarian sector.
    • At least 3-5 years of working experience.
    • Working knowledge and familiarity with Sustainability agenda is an advantage.
    • Demonstrates strategic thinking.
    • Displays executive maturity and ability in managing high-level discussions.

Communications

    As a project executive, you support the development, planning and execution of project briefs submitted to the communications department. Efficient and organised, you enjoy turning project goals into clear, achievable milestones for various units to execute.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Assess communication briefs for clarity of purpose, as well as accuracy and adequacy of information provided by project owners.
    • Lead & drive the development of creative briefs and ensure achievement of communication needs & requests according to stipulated timelines.
    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including internal creative team members, project owners, vendors etc.
    • Administer everyday operation for projects to ensure creative team and/or vendors adhere to deadlines and budgets.
    • Ensure risks/issues are being tracked and mitigated & resolved. Provides regular status updates on the project plans to all stakeholders.
    • Obtain, evaluate, and process all quotations and invoices to ensure a cost-effective & timely delivery of communication materials.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • At least one year of working experience, preferably with experience in coordinating and managing projects involving creative work.
    • Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in Mass Communications/Media/Marketing.
    • Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese.
    • Fast learner, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
    • Certified Project Management skills/knowledge is an added advantage.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in project delivery.

     

    Job Description:

     

    Overview: You’re creative, fun and love story telling via digital media! Specialises in designing and developing digital assets for multimedia and graphic projects, you are someone who believes that a good design can help communicate the right message.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Translates creative concepts into visual design; works with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution
    • Work closely with creative & marketing team to produce on-brand and eye-catching visual graphics e.g., email marketing, social media content, promotional videos, website visuals
    • Understands the components of visual communications across video production, including sound & music
    • Engage in pre-production planning, production, and edit of (video) content, from storyboarding to the final cut and ensuring consistency in quality control
    • Research & implement the new and upcoming design and trends in communicating to World Vision supporters
    • Attentive to details and have a strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure quality of final product

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, media production, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a professional digital design role
    • Skilled in using design & video editing software i.e., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut etc
    • Bilingual (English & Mandarin), ability to shoot & film will be an added advantage
    • Accountable and reliable – able to clearly present design ideas and concepts

     

International Programmes

    The Country Programme Coordinator is responsible to support World Vision Malaysia (WVM) funded programmes/projects through promoting and strengthening trust and relationship with the National Offices (NOs) and supporting the field in technical Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME), as well as in funding to ensure support is provided to enhance quality and sustainability of the programmes. 

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Review reports such as annual and semi-annual reports as well as budgets and carry-forward submitted by Field Office of their area programmes (AP) to ensure programme oversight and fiduciary responsibility
    • Review and provide input into strategy documents, technical programmes, evaluation reports of technical programmes, and area programme plans to support Field Offices
    • Function as the focal point for higher level programme issues, contextual information, consultation, field visits and initiatives about a country
    • Build and manage relationships with FO staff and AP staff to encourage transparency and mutual understanding and application of quality design, monitoring and evaluation (DME) standards
    • Support and promote resource allocation and engagement strategy to help provide direction for WVM in continued support to National Offices
    • Provide information to internal teams for reporting to donors for accountability and to increase awareness about the progress and impact of the ADP's development
    • Assist in coordinating the field office funding commitments of WVM's funded programme and projects
    • Assist in monitoring and coordinating all response to International Humanitarian Emergency Action 
    • Support other internal departments’ needs for information from WVM funded programmes and projects

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Candidate must possess Diploma/Degree in Development or any related field
    • Minimum two (2) years of working experience in NGO or related work
    • Good working command of spoken and written English
    • Good attention to detail and needs to be a quick learner
    • Good financial knowledge and excel skills
    • Good planning and coordination skills
    • Good networking and collaboration/relationship building skills
    • Able to work independently as well as being a team player

     

Malaysian Programmes Department

    Job Description:

     

    The OGM Project Facilitator is responsible for implementing OGM’s Eat Right to Play Right (ERTPR) activities at the community level.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions (badminton and nutrition) for children and capacity building workshops for community volunteers and households (community kitchen, home garden).
    • Programme planning, monitoring and reporting processes of all programme activities with OGM team members under the support and coaching of OGM Team Leader.
    • Establish, build and/or strengthen relationships with local partners in the communities to promote participation and ownership.
    • Capturing of field stories and content on programme impact.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Possession of at least a Degree preferably related to sports or nutrition or its equivalent.
    • At least one year’s previous relevant experience such as coaching and community facilitation.
    • Problem solving and creative thinking skills.
    • Able to work independently and a team player.
    • Good interpersonal skills with different stakeholders.
    • Sensitive to the different cultures where we work in.
    • Able to work on weekends (especially Saturdays).
    • Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English (oral and written).
    • Able to drive and have a valid driving license.
    • Knowledge of and able to play basic badminton game.
    • Physically fit to perform sports activities.
