Resource Development Department

    Job Description:

     

    The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the digital marketing team in digital campaign planning, journey design, optimization, and channel mix to improve CPA, ROAS and channel diversification. It will involve functional knowledge and familiarity with digital marketing platforms and digital analytics.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    The digital marketing specialist must have strong knowledge across areas of digital marketing and be able to successfully lead/execute/convert campaigns within each specialty area of digital marketing. This person will also look at campaign and first party data to provide insights and segmentation to enhance campaigns.

    • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to the company website/social media platforms
    • Track conversion rates – what worked, what did not, and why?
    • Raise brand awareness and online presence via digital marketing projects and campaigns
    • Ensures that campaigns are consistently optimized, and new in-market opportunities are explored/tested
    • Understand how to maximize budget and opportunity for each campaign
    • Provide actionable insights based on campaign and first party data
    • Review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company is a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in digital marketing space
    • Identify areas of improvement for user experience from marketing strategies execution to conversion site(s)
    • Able to work with, and communicate with stakeholders the value that digital marketing campaigns can bring to an organization

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Business/Marketing/Digital Marketing with at least 3 years related working experience
    • Know the basics of marketing; plan, create and implement marketing funnel management along with designing and optimizing user experience
    • Knowledge in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM) would be advantageous
    • SQL + Python knowledge would be advantageous
    • Developing social presence and advocating brands effectively
    • Understand the key measurement tools available
    • Working experience in implementing tracking concepts via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager would be advantageous
    • Stay current in marketing trends and news e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms
    • Knowing how to plan and having the ability to manage time
    • Having creative and good presentation skills

    Job Description:

     

    The Campaigns Executive is responsible to develop, execute and evaluate campaigns for youths; ensure that programs meet overall objectives, contributing to the overall target and brand image.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Conceptualise and present fresh initiatives that will help build new marketing opportunities and penetrate new market segments
    • Identify, collate, upkeep and expand database of existing and potential schools/universities into higher levels of engagement and fundraising
    • Assist with the development of awareness raising, advocacy and knowledge products, including infographic and other communication materials using various mediums
    • Plan and implementation, and facilitation of activities, workshops, panel discussions, special meet ups, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources whilst ensuring that operation are managed within authorized budget
    • Presentations to public and school groups for purpose of WVM participation
    • Training of leaders for the 30-Hour Famine, End Violence Against Children (EVAC) or any other advocacy activities
    • Follow up with the DIY Camps by ensuring that the Camps’ needs are met, resolved and immediate follow-up actions taken
    • Coordinate logistical details with internal and external service departments for WVM campaigns and events

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Public Relations or related fields
    • At least two (2) years of working experience in related field
    • Experience in organising and managing events
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Good working command of English and Chinese
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines
    • Positive attitude, detail oriented and highly motivated
    • Able to work independently in a fast-pace and changing environment

     

    Job Description:

     

    The Supporter Engagement Executive is responsible to secure, manage and build the relationship with the current and new Middle and Major donors; execute strategies to engage new potential supporters.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • To carry out research and explore new markets, potential donors, and CSR collaboration opportunities
    • To conduct regular engagement by way of emails, calls or visits where appropriate; share WVM campaigns where relevant
    • To report and manage day-to-day work, appointments, status updates, relevant internal and meetings
    • To prepare and deliver clear executive level presentations when needed for potential sponsors/ donors
    • To gather feedback on key deliverables from sponsors and donors to ensure continual improvement

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Degree in Admin/Business/Marketing studies
    • At least three (3) years of working experience
    • Demonstrable executive maturity and operational agility
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure is essential
    • Strong organizational and people skills
    • Strong listening, questioning and strategic thinking skills
    • Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills
    • Good working command of English and Mandarin

     

System Information Department

    The IT Support & Administration role is responsible for maintaining the computer networks of an organisation, providing technical support, and ensuring that the whole organisation runs smoothly. The position holder will monitor and maintain computer systems, perform installs, configure hardware and software, and solve technical issues as they arise

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Manage, prioritise, and resolve service requests that relate to IT hardware, software, and associated services
    • Monitor and prioritise workloads and response times for incidents, requests and problems to meet service level requirements
    • Provide technical assistance, advice, and training to staff, projects, and visitors seeking assistance with IT and Audio Visual (AV) technology matters
    • Monitor, configure and maintain servers, systems, VOIP, and network infrastructure, including Active Directory, email, routing/switching, firewall, load balancer, VPN and operating system
    • Ensure the compliance of security, network access, permission and backup systems
    • Ensure that all internal systems comply with Global IT support hub standards and policies
    • Manage and monitor IT inventory such as software licenses, computers, laptops, printers and other equipment/devices
    • Perform regular OS (Microsoft and Linux) security patches, anti-virus upgrades for all computers, laptops and servers
    • Engage in self-development and learning to stay current and knowledgeable on the WVM environment through proactive research, including assessment and analysis of user requirements, responses and feedback and industry trends

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Candidate must possess Information Technology/Computer Science or specific degree qualification and/or completion of an associate diploma with relevant IT experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant IT experience and/or IT education/training
    • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in systems administration, helpdesk support or network/technical support
    • Knowledge and experience in current Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 Services (including Teams), PC and Apple technologies, AV Services, Video Conferencing Technologies, print and imaging, and Mobile Technologies is an added advantage.

     

    The Application Developer is responsible for programming the code that "tells" a website/application how to function. The position holder will handle the construction of the interface design and user experience by ensuring they look good, run smoothly, and offer easy access points with no loading issues between pages or error messages.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Design, develop, implement and test applications and products including hardware, software, operating systems, firmware and BIOS, in line with agreed requirements, timelines, budget, quality and development standards
    • Understand technical and functional design requirements based on business flow and processes
    • Understand and explore new features and functionalities in other organisations’ websites and propose new ideas to enhance existing websites/applications
    • Participate in research and development of new technologies, concepts and products.
    • Provide technical advice, troubleshooting, upgrades and solutions to improve website/application quality, page load and user experience
    • Provide technical documentation on realised applications/products, following internal standards
    • Engage in self-development and learning to stay current and knowledgeable on the WVM environment through proactive research, including assessment and analysis of user requirements, responses and feedback and industry trends

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Candidate must possess Information Technology/Computer Science or specific degree qualification and/or completion of an associate diploma with relevant IT experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant IT experience and/or IT education/training
    • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in web programming and development
    • Required skills/languages in PHP, JavaScript, Java, CSS, Bootstrap and Web Services API
    • Experience in developing web applications with Laravel/Statamic framework
    • Knowledge in agile methodologies, object oriented design programming and web user interface design (UX/UI) is an added advantage

     

Public Engagement Department

    As a project executive, you support the development, planning and execution of project briefs submitted to the communications department. Efficient and organised, you enjoy turning project goals into clear, achievable milestones for various units to execute.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Assess communication briefs for clarity of purpose, as well as accuracy and adequacy of information provided by project owners
    • Lead & drive the development of creative briefs and ensure achievement of communication needs & requests according to stipulated timelines
    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including internal creative team members, project owners, vendors etc.
    • Administer everyday operation for projects to ensure creative team and/or vendors adhere to deadlines and budgets.
    • Ensure risks/issues are being tracked and mitigated & resolved. Provides regular status updates on the project plans to all stakeholders.
    • Obtain, evaluate, and process all quotations and invoices to ensure a cost-effective & timely delivery of communication materials

     

    Qualifications

     

    • At least one year of working experience, preferably with experience in coordinating and managing projects involving creative work
    • Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in Mass Communications/Media/Marketing
    • Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
    • Fast learner, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
    • Certified Project Management skills/knowledge is an added advantage
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Job Description:

     

    The Corporate Media Executive is responsible to identify, recommend, cultivate and maintain corporate media contacts, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives as well as to proactively build World Vision Malaysia’s media presence.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Build rapport and understanding with media contacts
    • Pitch media interviews and stories to raise WVM brand awareness
    • Coordinate and respond to all media enquiries
    • Prepare and update media information kits, backgrounders, speeches, and briefing documents
    • Assist with emergency relief & rehabilitation media relations in Malaysia
    • Implement Corporate media strategies

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor degree or professional qualification in Mass Communication or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
    • Good command of spoken and written English

    • Bachelor Degree or Masters in Ministry / Leadership / Christian Studies / International Community Development
    • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in pastoral ministry
    • Any experience with inter-denominational initiatives is added advantage
    • Mature in thinking and the Christian faith
    • Sensitive to the different cultures where we work in
    • Ability to foster meaningful and dynamic relationships with national church leaders, Christian practitioners, and other faith-based organisations
    • Ability to articulate and connect humanitarian issues with the Christian faith – grounded in Biblical and Systematic Theology

International Programmes

    The Country Programme Coordinator is responsible to support World Vision Malaysia (WVM) funded programmes/projects through promoting and strengthening trust and relationship with the National Offices (NOs) and supporting the field in technical Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME), as well as in funding to ensure support is provided to enhance quality and sustainability of the programmes. 

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Review reports such as annual and semi-annual reports as well as budgets and carry-forward submitted by Field Office of their area programmes (AP) to ensure programme oversight and fiduciary responsibility
    • Review and provide input into strategy documents, technical programmes, evaluation reports of technical programmes, and area programme plans to support Field Offices
    • Function as the focal point for higher level programme issues, contextual information, consultation, field visits and initiatives about a country
    • Build and manage relationships with FO staff and AP staff to encourage transparency and mutual understanding and application of quality design, monitoring and evaluation (DME) standards
    • Support and promote resource allocation and engagement strategy to help provide direction for WVM in continued support to National Offices
    • Provide information to internal teams for reporting to donors for accountability and to increase awareness about the progress and impact of the ADP's development
    • Assist in coordinating the field office funding commitments of WVM's funded programme and projects
    • Assist in monitoring and coordinating all response to International Humanitarian Emergency Action 
    • Support other internal departments’ needs for information from WVM funded programmes and projects

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Candidate must possess Diploma/Degree in any fields
    • Minimum two (2) years of working experience in administration, operation or relevant field
