RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

    The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible to lead the planning and execution of digital marketing strategies for World Vision Malaysia to drive engagement, fundraising, and donor retention. It oversees content creation, campaign performance, and brand consistency across digital platforms.

     

    Objectives of this role:

     

    • Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing for World Vision Malaysia, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
    • Establish and execute a digital marketing strategy to distribute content.
    • Work with and manage a team digital marketing specialist and other stakeholders to maintain World Vision’s digital presence.
    • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social channels.
    • Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Create and manage content for World Vision’s social media, emails, and other forms of digital communication.
    • Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and trends and implement research into digital marketing campaigns.
    • Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs.
    • Collaborate with the campaigns team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.
    • Develop and monitor campaign budgets.
    • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, and implement them in World Vision’s marketing campaigns.
    • Monitor and collaborate with digital agencies to maximise World Vision’s digital acquisition.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • In-depth knowledge of current digital trends.
    • Experience in digital marketing, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
    • Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research.
    • Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
    • Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data.
    • 7 to 8 years of experience in digital marketing.

     

    Preferred Experience & Knowledge:

     

    • Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends.
    • Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and innovation.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments.
    • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices.

    • Strong project management and managerial skills.

    We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Marketing Campaigns Executive to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing marketing initiatives that enhance our brand presence, build awareness, understanding and support of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need. You will work closely with various departments to ensure our marketing strategies align with business goals.

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns to promote WV work.
    • Build our supporter base and contribute towards delivery of marketing campaign’s target.
    • Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends to identify new opportunities and challenges.
    • Collaborate with the communication team to produce engaging content for various channels, including digital, social media, and print.
    • Manage and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
    • Monitor campaign performance and provide report / insights to improve future initiatives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including celebrity, influencer, partners and vendors.
    • Assist in organising promotional events and managing roadshows.
    • Any other tasks that are given from time to time.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of working experience in marketing or event planning
    • Detailed, able to prepare evaluation and monitoring documents
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills as well as presentation/public speaking skills
    • Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English
    • A fast learner and able to multi-task
    • Able to work independently as well as being a team player

     

    We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our brand and build awareness of the various social and economic issues impacting communities in need. You will collaborate with various departments to implement campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring our messaging resonates with diverse audiences.

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    • Assist to in creating and executing marketing campaigns to promote WV work.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and supporter needs.
    • Collaborate with the communication team to plan and develop engaging marketing materials, including poster, email, newsletters, and digital content.
    • Plan and implement events (both on-ground and online), including workshops, panel discussions, and activities. Manage all aspects such as budget spending, material production and distribution, and resource allocation, ensuring operations stay within authorised budgets.
    • Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for public and private groups to recruit participants for WVM campaigns, effectively communicating campaign goals and engagement strategies.
    • Support event planning and coordination for promotional activities and roadshows.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant working experience in marketing
    • Detailed, able to prepare evaluation and monitoring documents
    • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
    • Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English
    • A fast learner and able to multi-task
    • Able to work independently as well as being a team player

     

COMMUNICATIONS

    The Communications Executive is responsible for developing and producing engaging, clear and interesting copywriting for a variety of channels; to brainstorm ideas, create concepts and develop messaging according to different communication goals.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Plan and propose engaging copywriting concepts that meet communication goals set out in project briefs, and collaborate with project owners, designers and other stakeholders to execute approved plans
    • Write & translate clear, attractive copy for print & digital mediums including websites, newsletters, brochures, videos scripts, and other related marketing communications materials in Chinese language
    • Edit and proof-read communications materials as needed to maintain accuracy, consistency and adherence to branding messaging requirements and standards always
    • Complete assigned tasks according to stipulated timelines, taking into consideration schedules of third-party suppliers and potential delays
    • Stay updated on creative and communications trends to ensure engaging, timely and relevant copywriting

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • At least two (2) years of working experience in related field
    • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in Chinese
    • BSc/BA in Marketing, Mass Communications, Chinese, Journalism or related field
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines
    • Positive attitude, detail oriented with collaborative spirit
    • Bilingual proficiency in both Chinese and English will be an added advantage
    • Able to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment

     

DONOR RELATIONS

    Donor Relations Manager is responsible to provide management expertise in the development, implementation and coordination of Donor Relations strategies that will align to the goal and strategy of the organisation.

     

    Responsibilities: 
     
    1. Provide overall supervision, leadership and direction to Donor Relations department functions, which include the strategic, financial and human resource planning & development of the department, including the mentoring of Assistant Managers and senior staff with view of succession planning.

     

    1. Plan, implement and review Donor Relations strategies to strengthen relations with sponsors/donors with the goal of retaining them and reducing cancellation of pledges. This requires data analysis and preparation of reports to present results and ideas within the department and to higher management.

     

    1. Work closely and support other departments within WVM to support the organisation’s shared goals, participate in Global Centre’s initiatives and connect with other WV offices (Nation Offices & Support Offices) to share learnings.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • A degree holder with at least 6-7 years of working experience
    • Working experience in fundraising, donor relations or similar customer-service engagement effort related added advantage
    • Demonstrate proven ability in leading teams
    • Self-starter with strong learning agility, strategic and creative thinking skills
    • Excellent analytical, communications, planning and project management skills
    • Ability to deal with fast-moving situations and multi task

     

FINANCE & OPERATIONS

    We are seeking for a dedicated and detail-driven Accountant to lead our financial planning, compliance, and reporting functions, ensuring financial integrity and transparency.

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    • Financial Management & Compliance: Maintain financial records, oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and ensure compliance with tax laws, donor requirements and internal controls
    • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, track trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
    • Auditing & Risk Management: Conduct audits, ensure compliance and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Budgeting & Advisory Support: Develop budgets, forecast finances, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
    • Communication & Collaboration: Improve financial communication, train staff and align financial planning with organization goals

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Minimum 5 years of financial experience with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Financial expertise and analysis skills in budgeting, reporting and financial strategy.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Ms Excel for reporting and analysis.

     

    We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Executive to join our Finance team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of staff claims and vendor payments, timely bank reconciliations, and proper accounting of general ledger entries and fixed assets. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization’s financial integrity by supporting compliance, efficiency, and transparency in financial operations.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Process staff claims and vendor invoices accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Manage fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and periodic asset verification.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and assist in internal/external audits.
    • Support financial reporting and ad hoc finance tasks as required.

     

    Qualifications

    • At least 2 years of relevant finance/accounting experience with a minimum of a bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively.

     

FAITH & CHURCH

    As a team member of Faith & Church, you are to engage, build, and maintain relationships with churches to raise their awareness and understanding of World Vision’s work. You are expected to mobilise churches to support WV’s programmes in prayers, funding, providing manpower, knowledge and skills.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Contribute to meeting WVM Faith and Church department strategic goals.
    • Plan and execute church relations engagements: networking activities, speaking engagements, and church events coordination.
    • Mobilise Malaysian churches to participate in organisational wide advocacy campaigns.
    • Produce materials that expound and reflect on WVM’s Christian humanitarian work.
    • Plan and coordinate staff spiritual nurture and formation initiatives.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Candidate must possess Diploma/Degree in any fields.
    • Possessed knowledge in theological studies an added advantage.
    • Proficient in English and Mandarin languages (written and spoken).
    • Experienced in ministry and team work leadership.
    • Effective communicator and facilitator in building church partnerships.
    • Compassionate towards the vulnerable and passionate to advocating Christians responsibilities in holistic transformation.
