Millions of impoverished children are robbed of their childhood from an early age. They have no rights and face devastation and abuse daily. No future, no education, no safety and security.

Nobody chose this for them.

Children living in these places are more likely to be exploited into child labour, recruited as child soldiers, and left in constant neglect and abuse.

This is NOT childhood.

Living in Dangerous Places

For children living in places under threat of war, poverty and crisis – access to food, clean water, and education are simply out of reach. We often refer to this as fragile contexts. Some children call it home.

By 2030, 85% of the world’s extreme poor will live in places like this, and many won’t survive.
